Our Approach

to Osteopathy

Osteopathy effectively treats a variety of conditions by taking a holistic approach to the body. Meaning we treat the body as a whole and not just one part of the body. We believe the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit.

Osteopathy is a musculoskeletal manual therapy designed to enhance and restore health and musculoskeletal function. Osteopaths use a combination of hands-on techniques ranging from soft tissue massage, stretching, and mobilisation or manipulation of joints.

Our osteopath doesn’t just treat the symptoms but will be looking for the underlying causes of a problem, taking into account the individual, posture, lifestyle and activities.

Osteopaths can manage a range of conditions from the newborn to the elderly as well as pregnant and postnatal women.

Osteopathic techniques are safe, gentle and effective.
